The Order does not proselytise. We encourage people to navigate their own path to the divine art of walking. Throughout time, generations of enlightened souls have written about the joys of perambulation and journey. Anthologies have been compiled for charm and resonance. Part of the Order’s mission is to seek inspirational texts, historical and contemporary, that will motivate the human to peer to the horizon and walk. The fruits of journey are always overwhelming whether it be a full day of walking or a protracted pilgrimage.
The Order is pleased to present “Readings: Volume 1.” An eighteen piece, forty five page anthology to add to your walking kit. It contains editorials, essays, excerpts and quotes to complement your immersion out of doors per boot.
It prints out to an A5 booklet and may be produced at the noon day halt to rouse your rambling crew or just turn your own mind out to play. It is a free download.
Between bird song and the din of modernity this anthology is offering respite and perhaps the suggestion to slow down and live deliberately. If you are new to stick walking, journey and slowing it down, infinite pleasures await you.
